Ember is proud to join forces with (RED) to support global health programs that help those in need. Pandemics like COVID and AIDS are devastating to millions across the globe and thrive where injustices persist. When you purchase an (Ember)RED Mug, part of the proceeds goes towards strengthening healthcare systems and supporting equitable access to testing and treatment.

(RED), named for the color of emergency, was founded by Bono and Bobby Shriver in 2006 to turn companies into a cavalry to fight the AIDS pandemic.
(RED) partners with the most iconic brands and people to create (RED) products and experiences — all of which raise money for the Global Fund, one of the world's largest funders of global health.
To date, (RED) has generated over $700 million for the Global Fund, helping more than 245 million people. The money raised by (RED)'s partners and campaigns goes directly to strengthen health systems and support life-saving programs in the communities where pandemics hit hardest.
3% of the purchase price of every (Ember)RED Mug will be donated to the Global Fund to fight global pandemics, like AIDS and COVID, through (RED). Donations have a direct impact by equipping health workers with PPE, providing HIV-positive pregnant women and mothers with access to testing and treatment, and supporting community health workers with training and tools to fight diseases.
The Global Fund is a partnership between governments, civil society, and the private sector designed to accelerate the end of AIDS, TB and malaria. Over the last 20 years, the Global Fund has invested more than $50B to support programs run by local experts in the world’s most vulnerable communities. The Global Fund is the largest multilateral funder of global health systems, and it is responsible for one-fifth of all HIV/AIDS funding worldwide.
(RED) exists to bring private sector funding to the Global Fund. Prior to (RED)’s founding, businesses had contributed just $5 million to the Global Fund, which put the Global Fund’s public-private charter under threat. To date, (RED) has generated over $700 million, more than any other business initiative among Global Fund donors. (RED) continues to work closely with the Global Fund to drive private sector contributions and awareness in support of the fight against global pandemics.
*From October 4, 2022 to October 3, 2023, 3% of the purchase price (after deducting taxes) of every (Ember)RED Mug sold in the United States and Canada will go to the Fund for the Global Fund, a U.S. nonprofit organization, with a minimum guaranteed donation of $100,000 USD. This donation will help strengthen healthcare systems and support equitable access to testing and treatment.
